Young Women Leading our World in Circular Economy

WOW is an Erasmus+ cooperation partnership (KA220-YOU) running from October 2025 to September 2027, bringing together 6 organisations from Romania, Ireland, France, Bulgaria, Turkey and Portugal. With a budget of €250,000, the project empowers young women aged 18–25 to become active leaders in sustainability and the circular economy.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Only 33% of environmental decision-making positions are held by women.

Participation

  • 120+ young women engaged in replication workshops and local activities
  • 60 young women implementing community sustainability projects
  • 60 mentors supporting participants (30 Higher Education students + 20 expert volunteers)
  • 150+ registered users on the WOW Sustainability Network digital platform

Activities

  • 12 GameChanger actions (2 per partner country)
  • 6 local replication workshops across partner countries
  • 3 international face-to-face workshops (Ireland, France, Romania)
  • 1 Grow and WOW Festival bringing together 100 participants
